The professor's Birthday
The university professors are having a birthday party and they take the opportunity to test Trevor's cleverness.
Trover must cut a birthday cake into exactly eight pieces.
but he's allowed to make only three straight cuts, and he isn't allowed to move pieces of the cake as he cuts it.
How can he do it
SOLUTION
Trevor uses the first two cuts to cut an "X" on the top of the cake. Now he has four pieces. He makes the third cut horizontally through the cake dividing the four pieces into eight .Now there are four pieces on the top and four more pieces underneath it
